Centre improvements

The Roberts Bank Seafarers Centre is situated inside the Westshore Coal Terminal  and it has been wonderful to be able to turn to them for assistance and find them willing to help.

The weather takes it toll on the centre and when the steps and the door leading into the centres 24 hour Wi-Fi room began to give way a call to the maintenance department at Westshore brought an immediate response and replacements for both.

Further support has come from Delta GCT Container Terminal who responded to a call for assistance with our poor lighting and came and installed new  LED bulbs brightening the place up.

All of us at the Mission are grateful for the support of our neighbours which enables us to continue to serve the seafarers and provide a comfortable, safe and clean centre.

It also demonstrates an effective partnership with industry recognizing the importance of the seafarers.
