Mission to Seafarers, Canada with stations across the country and with our associates in the US met in Vancouver from Monday 17th- Thursday 20th, for the first time in 3 years.

The theme of the conference was 'Reconnecting' with one another  and in what we do together to support seafarers.

We had a range of excellent speakers from the Port of Vancouver, Chamber of Shipping BC, ITF (International Transport Federation), NAMMA (North American Maritime Ministry Association), ICMA ( International Christian Maritime Association), Mission to Seafarers  IHQ London and Memorial University of Newfoundland.

The visit to the Vancouver Maritime Museum and the Port Discovery Centre provided opportunities for fellowship and education. The Eucharist held at St James Anglican Church led by Fr Kevin and Archbishop David provided time to pray, to give thanks for the seafarers and one another and to be reminded of our calling to care for the seafarers.
