Deacon Dileep Athaide

Deacon Dileep Athaide is the Apostleship of the Sea (Stella Maris) Catholic Chaplaincy Coordinator for the Port of Vancouver.  He has been providing pastoral care to seafarers ever since his ordination to the Permanent Diaconate in the Archdiocese of Vancouver in December 2015.  He has recently been appointed Regional Coordinator (West Coast) for AoS Canada.  Dileep also serves as Parish Deacon at Sacred Heart Church in South Delta.  He is a retired college professor (Geology and Adult Education) and former Labour leader.
