Bishop Benny of the Diocese of N.Philippines (Yellow hat and jacket) which is a partner Diocese of the Anglican Diocese of New Westminster of which the Mission is an outreach ministry took the time on St Nicholas Day Dec 6th to drop off some gifts, look around the Waterfront Seafarers Centre and visit a ship in the Port of Vancouver 

The Seafarers onboard all Filipino appreciated the visit and it gave the Bishop insight to their lives. While the majority of Seafarers from the Philippines do not come from the N.Philippibes those who do are assured of the support of the Diocese there.

The Bishop was accompanied by Port Chaplain Peter Smyth, Father Arvin of St Mary's. Sapperton and Pauline a ship visitor from St Michaels, Vancouver. 

We thank the Bishop for his support and look forward to developing our support of Filipino seafarers.
