On behalf of all of us at the Mission to Seafarers in Vancouver I want to thank our main corporate sponsor Tymac, CMC(Council of Marine Carriers),Seaspan,DP World,VFPA (Vancouver Fraser Port Authority), SAAM and Group Ocean.

Thanks to other corporations that supported the ride, the riders and those who supported them for making it another  great event with fun and food and ongoing support for the seafarers.

The rain didn't dampen the enthusiasm as the riders navigated the 40 or 75km routes. The volunteers from registration, set up, cooking and clean up were amazing with special thanks to St Michaels Multicultural Anglican Church and a number of Filipino seafarers presently living and working in Vancouver.

The TEAM Trophy once again went to CMC (Council of Marine Carriers) for raising the most closely followed by the BC Coast Pilot and Wallenius Wilhelmsen.

Thanks goes the very able committee of Bonnie Gee,Brian Young,Peter Byland, Nathan Boutilier, Gordon Yahn and advisor Don MacInnes. Thanks also to Jane and Paul for taking pictures.
