Sea Sunday - St David’s Tsawwassen

Sea Sunday is a day to remember and give thanks for seafarers around the world and we did that by gathering for worship at St David's Anglican Church in Tsawwassen with the sanctuary decked out with such items as fishing nets and an actual boat. The Senior Port Chaplain Peter Smyth preached and and the Rector the Rev'd The Reverend Simbarashe Emmanuel Basvi presided. A wreath was blessed and following the service was laid to rest on the Fraser River which has carried  many seafarers over the years courtesy of John Horton and the Delta lifeboat crew.
